Boca and Pacini’s Sold

Boca and Pacini’s Have New Owners

MARSHFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS (December 9, 2011).  Daniel Newcomb, principal of The Atlantic Restaurant Group, an established commercial real estate firm that specializes in the sale of restaurants, leasing of restaurant space and liquor licenses throughout the South Shore and the Greater Boston area, has announced the sale of two South Shore restaurants.

After a brief hiatus from the restaurant business, chef Bondo Benjamin has returned having recently purchased the former Pacini’s Restaurant at 1810 Ocean Street in Marshfield, MA.  Its new name will be Bondo’s.  Along with his partner, Sheila Hart, Mr. Benjamin has developed a menu featuring Italian, French and Mediterranean cuisine, emphasizing the use of locally grown and raised provisions.  A beer and wine selection will be initially offered with plans for a full liquor license already underway.

“We’ve developed our new concept around the need for upscale dining at reasonable prices.  Local sources will be used whenever possible to support local farmers and fisheries and provide our customers with the freshest food available.  At Bondo’s,  our motto is: Real food. Real people. Real good.”

A mid-December opening is planned.

Father and son restaurateurs Ron and Joseph Emma of Emma’s Pub & Pizza will be operating a new concept out of the former Boca location at 254 School Street in Pembroke, MA.  Oysters Bar & Grille will offer a high-end alternative for South Shore diners, offering a raw bar and a variety of creative dishes prepared using the freshest local ingredients available.  Joseph, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, will be the chef.

“This is a departure from Emma’s menu where Joseph worked as chef for the last six years, but he was trained in fine cuisine and is looking forward to the creative freedom he’ll have with this new concept,” say father, Ron Emma.

A grand opening is planned for the latter part of December.
